Longlist announced online on  6th June  2021 and online exhibition opens for public voting.

STAGE 1 - ONLINE EXHIBITION

​

If your application is successful and you make the longlist, your work will be exhibited on

Doncaster Art Fair website for at least 4 weeks.

​

All longlisted works will be voted on by the general public to select their favorite pieces which will go on to the next stage.

 

Our last exhibition received over 145,000 views and 54,000 votes from 42 countries - this is your chance to share your art with the world.

​

 

STAGE 2 - TOP 20 FINALIST

​

The finalists will be selected in two ways as follows: 

​

The 10 artists with the highest number of votes.

10 further artists selected by the Curators 

​

These 20 finalists will receive the following: 

​

A cash prize of £50 each

Their £10 participation fee refunded. 

Opportunity to be represented by us and sell your works via Doncaster Art Fair with the chance of becoming a 'Featured Artist' on our homepage.

Video promotion on our social media platforms.

Your work will pass before our panel of judges and you will be in the running

for the top 3 cash prizes. 

 If you are taking part in this exhibition, this is where you want to be. This stage is the most exciting part of our exhibition.

STAGE 3 - THE FINAL THREE

​

The final three artists chosen by our panel of judges will receive cash prizes.

​

First Prize - £400.00

Second Prize - £300.00

Third Prize - £200.00

​

Further Prizes - £50 for 6 selected artists

Due to the subject matter of this exhibition, we are pleased to say that we will hold an online zoom share session where 6 selected artists will share how their work is a response to mental health. We hope that this session will inspire others.

These 6 artists will be selected based on their written description of how their art piece is a response to mental health. Each selected artist in this section will receive £50.

Eligibility:

This competition is open to all visual artists worldwide.

 

Entry Fee:

Application is free of charge. You can submit up to 2 artworks.

​

Artists who make the longlist will be asked to pay an exhibition fee of only £10.00

​

21th May 2021
